On May 17, a Ravalli County resident took a 'rapid test' that came back positive, according to county information officer, Dixie Dies.

Officials are now waiting for final confirmation from the state lab.

The patient is a male, between the age of 50-60 and is currently in isolation. All other contacts with the patient have been identified and are in quarantine.

On Sunday morning a report from the state lab reported no new cases in the state.

The number of total cases in Montana remains at 467, at the moment.

The state is reporting 468 cases because one case is attributed to a Jefferson County resident. If the Ravalli County case comes back positive, that will make the total number 468.

Jefferson Co. health officials have reported that the case involved a man in his 50’s who has not been in the state for several weeks. They added that the case was not acquired in Montana and the man has not been in contact with anyone in Montana.

This is a developing story, we'll continue to update as more information becomes available.
