BILLINGS - Bailey's Frozen Novelties was out and about this warm Saturday afternoon.
They stopped through the Copper Ridge Subdivision, where families have been busy raising funds for a new playground in their existing park.
Bailey's Frozen Novelties decided to contribute 100 percent of tips and 20 percent of profits collected throughout the day to the playground fund.
There are around 400 homes in the areas surrounding the proposed playground, which includes both a structure for preschool aged children, and one for 5-12 year olds.
"We also purchased a swing set. We have additional elements that we would like to include. We're kind of going through our first phase of funding. And that would be a tire-swing, a merry-go-round, and a teeter-totter," Copper Ridge neighborhood member Nichole Hamnes said.
They hope to hold a grand opening later this summer, but there's more to this story - stay tuned next week as we detail how Bailey is passing the torch on to another young entrepreneur.
