BILLINGS – Billings is close to the dividing line between warmer and drier weather, and cooler and wetter conditions.

The jet stream will cut the area in half, with areas to the south and east of Billings staying drier and warmer.  Highs could reach the 80s for some locations today.

To the north and west of Billings, temperatures will be as cool as the 60s with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Expect some periods of wind pretty much anywhere.

Billings will see a mix of clouds and sun with afternoon temperatures in the mid-to-lower 70s for Wednesday and Thursday.

Billings forecast:

Wednesday… Partly sunny with a high near 73.  NE wind 5-15 mph.

Wednesday night… Mostly cloudy and around 51 for a low.

Thursday… About 51 for the high, and mostly cloudy.
