We saw temperatures jump up to slightly above seasonal here in Billings today, as plenty of early day sunshine helped start off the last official week of summer with pleasant conditions.

Tomorrow is not likely to bring the region all that much change.

A slight wind shift means cooler temperatures, but likely still around that seasonal mark. Afternoon highs on Monday will be in the low 70s.

Tuesday follows suite, but an encroaching cold front will bring cooler temperatures to the region as it works its way from north to south across the state.

The front will make its way to the south central portion of the state in time to bring wholesale changes to our weather on Wednesday. We can expect rainy conditions and afternoon high temperatures that struggle to hit the 60 degree plateau.

The system is rather quick moving and gets out of the way for things to clear up as we head towards next weekend.

If the cooling temperatures were not enough of a reminder, next weekend marks the start of the fall season, pumpkin spice for everyone!
