BILLINGS – Take a few minutes to dig out your sweaters and rain gear. And know where the snow sweeper is in the car, too.

Tuesday is warm, despite increasing clouds. Gusty 45 mph winds can be expected around Livingston, with breezy conditions in most of the area.

A cold front passes through Tuesday evening. This will create areas of gusty winds, along with showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Expect showers overnight through early Wednesday. The sky will start to clear in the afternoon, but highs will stay mainly in the 40s and 50s.

More showers start to move in on Thursday, with cooler than average temperatures through next week with often on rain and snow showers.

Billings forecast:

Tuesday… Partly to mostly cloudy with a high near 72. West wind 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday night… A chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a low around 45.

Wednesday… A chance of morning showers. Partly to mostly sunny by the afternoon and about 51 for the high. Breezy at times.
