BILLINGS – Still cool and unsettled Thursday with an eye on a Friday warm-up.

Expect rain and snow showers Thursday, but without much accumulation and less wind than recent days.  Highs will be mainly in the mid-40s with a cloudy to mostly cloudy afternoon.

Friday will turn much warmer and drier, but with gusty west winds from Billings to the west. Highs will reach the upper 50s to low 60s for the first time since early October.

Friday night through Saturday, another cold front digging in from Canada shifts the weather right back to chilly and unsettled.

Saturday, expect scattered rain and snow, with highs back to the low 40s.

Drier on Sunday, but still colder than average.

Through next week, the outlook is leaning toward a gradual warm up with nice fall conditions by midweek.
