Temperatures this morning dropped into the teens and that very chilly start meant that even though we saw plenty of sunshine today temperatures had trouble even creeping into the 40s.

Things will once again be cool overnight tonight, but a bit of early morning cloud cover could prop up temperatures just a tad, meaning a slightly warmer start to the day tomorrow.

A quick hitting system will roll through tomorrow morning that could bring a bit more precipitation to the foothills and mountains to the southwest of Billings. There is a slight chance we a see a shower or two here in town, but the system will pass quite rapidly and leave skies once again clear and sunny for the afternoon.

More sunshine bumps temperatures up even more tomorrow. One thing that will be a factor in an otherwise pleasant Monday afternoon is a consistent, blustery wind that will make it feel just a little cooler than it is.

The rest of the week is setting up to be very pleasant as a large high pressure ridge builds in from the west and brings with it warm, dry and stable conditions that look to persist through next weekend. Temperatures should get up above seasonal and there will be plenty of sunshine.
