Cold and snow this week.

Monday will be the warmest day of the week but with showers and wind it will not be warm.  Highs will be mainly in the 40s with a cloudy to mostly cloudy afternoon.

Rain showers or a rain/snow mix switch to light snow overnight. Some of the snow could produce heavier bands with quick accumulation of one or two inches.

Be aware roads could turn slushy or slick with poor visibility early Tuesday. Most likely hazards will be west of Roundup, Billings, and Sheridan, Wyoming.

Most of the higher elevations will pick up 4”-12” of new snow through Wednesday night.

Tuesday, highs will only be in the 30s.  Travel could be slick in some places Tuesday morning.

Wednesday will be the coldest day with highs mainly 25-30 and lows dropping to the low teens.  Light snow accumulation is expected, especially from Billings to the west.

Thursday edges up to the low 30s, but winds will likely increase.
