Snow showers and cold temperatures highlight the weather for the next couple of days.

Snow showers Tuesday morning could cause slick, snow-covered roads at times and reduced visibility.  Areas south and west of Billings are at the highest risk.

As the snow tapers off in the afternoon, roads will become wet.

Another round of snow will move into the area late Wednesday with a reinforcing shot of cold air.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be very chilly with afternoon highs Tuesday in the upper 20s to low 30s. Low will drop to the teens early Wednesday, and by the afternoon the highs will only edge up to the 20s.

Temperatures will slowly edge upward by the weekend but stay below seasonal averages.  Highs will be in the upper 30s and low 40s Saturday through Monday and expect lows in the 20s for the lower elevations.
