BILLINGS – “Quiet” weather for now, but a little “noisy” toward the weekend.
A mostly sunny sky comes with average or warmer temperatures for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thanksgiving Thursday. Expect more wind nearer the mountains, and breezy at times near Billings.
A series of Pacific systems push into the Rockies by Thursday evening resulting in mountain snow.
A chance of rain and snow showers develops over the plains by late Friday through Saturday. Any accumulations should be pretty light.
Temperatures cool to the 30s for the highs over the weekend and into early next week.
For holiday travel, mountain passes in central and western Montana will see wind, rain, and snow by Thursday afternoon or evening.
