Some early day sunshine gave us the benefits of dry and hassle free streets here in Billings this morning, as the system bringing snow to the region moved to the east late last night.

This shift meant that while plenty of snow fell in the northeast, we only saw an inch here in Billings and have had mostly cloudy skies and not the persistent, heavy, wet snowfall we were talking about early in the week.

However, the system is still in the region and looks to make a push back to the west early in the day on Sunday. So we could still see another round of light snowfall early in the day on Sunday.

Temperatures Sunday afternoon will hover around the freezing mark.

Things clear out in the wake of the current system as a wide area of high pressure builds in the region.

Things stay stable, cool and mostly clear for the rest of the week. Temperatures at or around the freezing mark early in the week with a slight warming trend currently forecast for the end of the week heading into next weekend.
