BILLINGS- Warmer than average temperatures continue, but for much of the area that means more wind.

As a high-pressure ridge builds in today, winds actually ease a bit in much of the region. Still, a Wind Advisory is in effect through Saturday for the Livingston/Nye area where wind gusts are already hitting 60 mph.

It will remain breezy from Harlowton, Big Timber, eastward toward Billings with 15 to 25 mph sustained winds through the day Friday.

Overall conditions will be dry and mild. Highs will be mainly in the 40s through the weekend across Eastern Montana and northern Wyoming with a few low 50s. Overnight temperatures will be mainly in the 20s with some low 30s.

A fast-moving cold front overnight through Saturday will produce a few clouds and wind. The mountains South and West of Billings will likely pick up some snow.

With the overall warm and dry pattern continuing into next week, some wildfire concerns could develop.
