BILLINGS – Strong winds will dominate the weather Wednesday.

Much of the region will remain under a High Wind Warning throughout the day, with sustained winds of 25 to 40 mph and wind gusts perhaps reaching 60 mph. Winds may not be as strong in areas from around Forsyth to the east, but gusts of 45 mph are still likely.

Otherwise, expect a mix of clouds and sunshine and more above average temperatures. Highs will be mainly in the 40s to low 50s.

Mild overnight with most readings into the 20s with the winds decreasing during the evening.

Mild again Thursday but with less wind. High temperatures will be mainly in the 40s and sunny to mostly sunny.

Temperatures begin to drop on Saturday, and a dry forecast remains through Monday. There are some signs we could see scattered rain or snow showers on Christmas Day.
