BILLINGS- Temperatures take a roller coaster ride over the next week.

Friday, temperatures remain below seasonal averages with highs mainly in the 20s. After areas a morning patchy fog and light flurries, the sun breaks through for the afternoon.

Winds are light during the day, but increase through Friday evening. By Friday night, Livingston could see wind gusts of 60 mph, and around 40 mph in the Billings area.

For Saturday and Sunday, temperatures warm to the 30s and 40s for the afternoon highs but winds will persist from Billings to the West. Sunday, a cold front moves through the area producing rain and snow showers for the lower elevations and some higher elevation snow.

Temperatures will plummet on Monday to the teens, before another midweek warm-up. Again, that will come with wind.
