Another very mild day here on Sunday as southwest winds once again help our temperatures up well into the 40s across the whole region.

But there is some changes underway that could our influence our weather.

Temperatures will drop into the upper 30s on Monday as a week cold front passes over the area.

The frontal passage sets up much of the western half of the state for some wintry weather and travel concerns will definitely exist over the course of the day on Monday, especially in the mountain passes.

The way the pattern sets up makes it unlikely that much moisture makes it across the divide and into the eastern plains, but there is a slight chance we see some wintry precipitation in the later morning Monday.

The frontal passage will make it a windy day across the east, especially in the early afternoon and things should clear over the course of the day on Monday, setting the stage for a clear and cool Tuesday.

The rest of the week should see temperatures rise once again with plenty of clear skies in the outlook.
