BILLINGS – Bitter cold temperatures continue in eastern Montana Sunday night.

Places like Cut Bank, Havre, Great Falls and Glasgow have remained well below zero Sunday with wind chill readings nearing 30 below zero at times. The Wind Chill Advisory posted across most of Montana will begin to expire from west to east later today, except for eastern Montana.

Ice jams along area waterways continue to be a concern. As of Sunday afternoon, the Jefferson River in Madison County was the only river posted with a Flood Watch.

Another shortwave disturbance will pass through the region Sunday night and early Monday bringing scattered light snow. On the heels of that shortwave will be some slightly warmer temperatures Monday through Tuesday.
