BILLINGS – We remain focused mainly on colder-than-average temperatures.

With the chilly Tuesday morning, temperatures will be slow to recover in the afternoon. Highs will be mainly in the teens with a few low 20s despite plenty of sunshine.

By early Wednesday, most temperatures will be in the single digits above and below zero and mostly clear. Wind chills will be around -5 degrees to -15 degrees.

Wednesday afternoon will warm a bit, despite increasing clouds. A chance of light snow showers develops from Wednesday night through Thursday.

Highs will bounce between the teens to around 30° through early next week. Overnight temperatures will hover on either side of the 0-degree mark through the period.

Average highs this time of the year would typically be in the low 40s, and overnight temperatures would hover around 20.

It looks like Billings will end of the month with the second-coldest February on record.
