BILLINGS – Temperatures remain well below average, but enjoy the next couple of days.  They will be the most pleasant for a while.

Highs Friday will be mainly in the 20s with plenty of afternoon sun.  With a light wind, overall the afternoon will be comfortable.

Winds will increase in the Livingston and surrounding area with gusts of 55-60 mph possible through Saturday.

Saturday will start out in the single digits and low teens and peak with 20s to low 30s for highs. But clouds will be increasing, and a rush of cold air and snow showers will follow Saturday night and Sunday.

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be cold with single digit highs and subzero overnights. Snow is very likely, with higher accumulations focusing north of Billings, near Roundup and Harlowton.

We likely will not break any daily records for cold temperatures or snowfall totals, but we could be in the ballpark.
