BILLINGS – More snow on the way, then it gets cold.

Most of the regional Winter Storm Warnings, Wind Chill Advisories and Winter Weather Advisories expire Wednesday morning as snowfall slows down and temperatures begin to moderate.

Forty-five degrees below zero Wind Chill Warnings for portions of northeast Montana remain in effect through Wednesday morning.

As snowfall lightens up Wednesday morning and the bitter cold begins to ease up for a day or two, another series of shortwave disturbances will bring more scattered snowfall to the region Wednesday night through Friday night.

The Billings area can expect another 6 to 8 inches of snow before Saturday morning.

Bitter cold temperatures will return to the region Friday night through the weekend.

Saturday night will be the coldest night so far this year with a forecast low of 19 degrees below zero.
