BILLINGS – Another winter storm moving into the area.

Snow showers will increase from west to east across the region throughout the day Friday. Moving from the mountain foothills into the Eastern Plains by the afternoon and evening, snow intensity will increase by the time it reaches Southeast Montana.

Expect 1 to 4 inches of snow from Billings to the south through northern Wyoming, and east of Billings to around Forsyth.

Snow in Powder River County and Carter County in extreme Southeast Montana could total 5 to 8 inches through Saturday.

Snow totals north the Billings should be fairly light.

Clouds will increase across the region throughout the day Friday with high temperatures mainly in the mid-20s to mid-30s. Overnight readings will be mainly in the single digits and teens.

Once the snow showers wind down Saturday, highs will stay mainly in the 30s and lows mainly in the teens into early next week. The mid to upper 30s are possible Monday and Tuesday.
