BILLINGS – The sunshine makes another welcomed appearance this weekend.

Dry, ridging high pressure over the northern Rockies is allowing for some sunshine and mild temperatures, mostly in the 40s and 40s Saturday afternoon.

Flood Advisories are still posted for the Front Range of the Rockies from Cut Bank south to Whitehall, as well as in the northeast corner of Montana.

Flood Warnings are still posted along the Milk River and the Poplar River too.

A dry backdoor cold front will sweep through the region Sunday bringing some clouds and perhaps a bit of precipitation in central Montana, especially over the mountains.

Otherwise, Sunday’s mostly sunny afternoon high temperatures should rebound nicely into the mid to upper 50s.

Our next batch of cool, wet weather arrives Monday evening.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Mostly clear, light west winds and a low of 31.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, light southwest winds and a high of 56.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and a low of 34.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, a 40 percent chance of showers and a high of 51.
