A typical spring pattern. Showers will come and go. Temperatures will rise and fall, sometimes dramatically.

Morning showers will wind down leaving us mainly dry for Monday afternoon. Temperatures will be mainly in the 50s for the highs and 30s for the lows.

Another Pacific system will affect the area Tuesday and Wednesday with a good chance of precipitation. There is a chance for thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening, especially from Billings to the east.

A warmer and drier pattern develops Thursday through Saturday. High temperatures Friday could be in the mid to upper 70s.

Billings forecast

Monday… Scattered morning showers and partly sunny for the afternoon. A high of about 56. Winds light invariable.

Monday night… Partly cloudy with a low around 38.

Tuesday… Increasing clouds with a chance of an afternoon rain shower or a slight chance of thunderstorms developing.  A high near 55.
