BILLINGS- Warmer than average temperatures, with scattered showers and thunderstorms this week through eastern Montana and northern Wyoming.

Morning showers will quickly decrease, leaving us sunny to partly sunny through the afternoon Monday. High temperatures will be mainly in the upper 50s to mid 60s with light winds.

Dry and warm conditions take over Tuesday, with highs mainly in the upper 60s to mid 70s, shaping up to be the warmest day the week. Winds will increase in the mountain foothills, with breezy periods around Billings.

The rest of the week looks a little unsettled, showers and isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoons. Highs will be mainly in the 60s to low 70s and lows mainly in the 40s for the lower elevations through Saturday.

We are leaning toward cooler and somewhat wetter weather next week.
