Q2 Weather: Several waves of rain across Montana Wednesday, drying up Thursday

BILLINGS- High wind and low humidity are causing fire weather watch worries for northeastern Montana Thursday.

In Billings, we are seeing several waves of moisture moving across the state.

The showers are forecast to move into eastern Montana and by Thursday morning.

We will be looking at mostly sunny skies across regions. We could see scattered snow showers in the big and little snowy mountains outside of Lewistown.

We’ll see partly cloudy skies after that, and then as we head into the rest of the week the forecast is talking about 61 on Thursday, 65 on Friday back down the 51 Monday with a chance for snow in the morning.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and dry. Northeast winds 5 to 15 mph. High 59 degrees.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers in the morning then a 70% chance for rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. High 60 degrees.
