Q2 Weather: Cool week but nice weekend

BILLINGS- Gray skies and cool temperatures will start the week, with a pretty dramatic warm-up by the weekend.

Monday will be cloudy to mostly cloudy, with temperatures still cooler than average. Highs will reach the upper 40s to mid 50s with areas of morning fog.

Showers will be most likely today in areas south of Billings including northern Wyoming.

Generally dry overnight, but another round of showers and isolated thunderstorms is expected Tuesday. Temperatures early Tuesday will be mainly in the 30s.

Highs Tuesday will be mainly in the 50s to around 60, but showers will become more numerous with isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening.

The same pattern of cooler than average temperatures continues Wednesday and Thursday with scattered showers isolated thunderstorms. Friday, temperatures make a move to the 60s and by Saturday, highs will hit the 60s to low 70s.

Monday night… Mostly cloudy with a low near 37.

Tuesday… Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and a thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. About 59 for the high.
