Q2 Weather: Cool and wet this week, and likely beyond

BILLINGS – A cool and wet week ahead.

The best chance of rain Monday is early with scattered showers to follow. By Tuesday, a strong push of moisture brings more rain and mountain snow back in the mix.

Temperatures will slip from 40s to mid-50s Monday to mainly the 40s for the highs Tuesday through Thursday.

One to three inches of rain and a foot of mountain snow are possible this week.

Billings forecast

Monday: Rain likely, mainly before 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 52. North northeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. Northeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Rain. Patchy fog before noon. High near 45. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
