Q2 Weather: Thunderstorms move into the region.

BILLINGS – Bumpy weather is headed our way.

After a calm, partly sunny and warm Saturday afternoon, more showers and thunderstorms are headed our way.

There is the potential for severe thunderstorms over portions of southeastern Montana and northeastern Wyoming Sunday. Severe thunderstorms could contain large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain.

Cooler temperatures and widespread rain showers will move into much of the area for Memorial Day Monday.

Snow showers are likely in the mountains late Sunday through Monday evening.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Partly cloudy, a 20% chance of showers and a low of 48.

Sunday: Increasing clouds, a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high of 69.

Sunday night: An 80% chance of thunderstorms and rain and a low of 46.

Memorial Day Monday: Cooler with an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms and a high of 53.
