BILLINGS – Severe Thunderstorms in the forecast – again.

In addition to a regional Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Sunday evening, the National Storm Prediction Center has indicated a slight risk for severe thunderstorms to occur this evening through Tuesday morning.

For Sunday, the watch area covers a region north and west of a line from Sheridan, Wyoming to Broadus. This area includes Billings.

For Tuesday, the watch area covers much of south-central to eastern Montana and northeast Wyoming, including Billings.

Remember: severe thunderstorms can contain brief heavy rain, large hail and damaging winds.

Keep an eye on the sky, monitor KTVQ for weather updates, and keep the Q2 Weather App handy on your smartphone.

After a warm weekend, daytime high temperatures will back off into the mid-70s for Monday and Tuesday before another mid-week warmup.
