Q2 Weather: Stormy Tuesday, Pleasant Wednesday

BILLINGS – Severe thunderstorms likely Tuesday.

Once again, the National Storm Prediction Center has indicated a slight risk for severe thunderstorms to occur Tuesday afternoon and evening.

The watch area covers the southeast corner of Montana and much of northeast Wyoming for a slight risk of severe thunderstorms.

A marginal risk for severe thunderstorms extends further into central and eastern Montana including the Billings area.

Remember, severe thunderstorms can contain brief heavy rain, large hail and damaging winds.

Daytime high temperatures Tuesday will stay below average with highs in the 70s and 80s. Temperatures will warm up a bit on Wednesday.

Today: Partly sunny, a 60% chance of thunderstorms – some could be strong to severe with heavy rain possible – and a high of 80.

Tonight: Cloudy, a 60% chance of thunderstorms – some could be strong to severe with heavy rain – and a low of 59.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and a bit warmer with a high of 84.
