BILLINGS – A pleasant stretch of weather ahead.

Although the occasional shower or thunderstorm is possible across the region, the overall weather pattern will be mostly dry and breezy over the next several days.

As a bonus: typical July heat – the mid to upper 80s to low 90s – will won’t kick in until early next week.

In the meantime, comfortable daytime highs in the upper 70s to low 80s will be the norm for much of eastern Montana and northern Wyoming today through Sunday.

The forecast for Billings

Today: Increasing clouds this afternoon, light west winds and a high of 86.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, a 20% chance of evening showers and thunderstorms and a low of 56.

Thursday: Sunny and mild with a high of 80.
