BILLINGS — Forecast
Right Now:
Mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 60’s and low 70’s for much of the region.
Also, smoke and haze starting to move back into the area today from those western wildfires in California.
Winds will pick up a little tonight, pushing that cooler air out and bringing a nice warm up for Sunday.
Sunday:
Warmer, with highs in the upper 70’s and mid to low 80’s for much of the region.
Smoke and haze will be with us for most of the day and it may even effect air quality a little bit, but by Monday a lot of that smoke starts to move out of the region.
Also Sunday from 12pm – 9pm, Red Flag Fire Warnings for most of Central Montana. Temps will be in the 70’s and 80’s. Humidity between 10-15% and winds gusting up to 40 mph in some spots. Worst fire conditions exist along the western mountains and foothills. Please be careful out there, especially in the back country.
Cool front moves in Sunday night, but the week ahead is by no means cold.
Monday – Saturday:
Temps will be above normal, fluctuating between 70’s and 80’s. Sunny almost every day.
Because it will be so warm and dry, there is potential throughout the week for Red Flag Fire Warnings and Watches to pop up, but as of right now, things are looking very summer like.
