BILLINGS — A shower here, or an isolated afternoon thunderstorm there. Mainly it is sun, clouds and spring temperatures looking ahead.
Seasonal temperatures through the weekend will slip to mainly 60s Friday, and mid to lower 70s Saturday and Sunday for highs. Lows stay mainly upper 30s to mid-40s.
Expect some wind in the mix Friday with gusts of 30 to 40 mph especially east of Billings.
After a dry and mainly sunny Saturday, a few rain showers or an isolated thunderstorm could pop late in the day with more widespread rain developing Sunday and Sunday night. The exact path and intensity is still being ironed out.
With increased mountain snowmelt, stream and rivers will be running higher and faster. Use caution with any recreation on or near the water this weekend.
