BILLINGS — Good morning.
It will be a rather calm day with clouds and sun mixing as high pressure continues to keep us dry. Winds, however, will increase with peak gusts coming late this afternoon into the evening.
The Livingston area and Beartooth foothills could experience gusts well over 50 mph, so the Wind Advisory will remain in place for now through 6 a.m. Thursday.
An approaching cold front out of the west will trigger a chance for snow showers for the western half of the state today before sliding east toward central Montana. This front will dissipate by Thursday, allowing high pressure to return heading into what should be a rather nice weekend although it will be quite windy at times with gusts over 30+ mph not out of the question.
Highs and lows look to stay above average through next week with daytime temperatures in the 40s and nighttime temperatures in the 20s/30s.
Keep smiling!
