BILLINGS — Still warm Wednesday before spring showers.
Despite more moisture being pumped into the area, Wednesday afternoon highs will be mainly the 60s with some low 70s, especially east of Billings. Higher clouds increase through the afternoon.
Expect breezy periods Wednesday and Thursday.
Widespread rain showers and mountain snow start Wednesday night, with rain showers ending Friday and the mountain snow lingering into the weekend. Some lower elevations could get a quarter-inch of total rain, with several inches of wet mountain snow.
Highs will be mainly in the 50s to a few low 60s Thursday and Friday, close to the April averages, but edge back to the 60s to around 70 for the weekend.
