Q2 Billings Area Weather: Can't shake the showers this weekend

BILLINGS — Temperatures will warm a bit the next few days, but the chance of showers and thunderstorms persists.

Light rain showers and week thunderstorm activity will pick up again for Friday afternoon and evening and continue off-and-on especially during the afternoons and evenings throughout the weekend.

High temperatures will be into the mid to lower 70s Friday afternoon with a mix of clouds and sun isolated showers and thunderstorms will pop up around the area.

Not as chilly Saturday morning with readings into the 40s to low 50s. Afternoon highs will be in the 70s to low 80s. Again a mix of clouds and sun with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Sunday looks to have the best chance of showers and thunderstorms with afternoon readings again in the 70s to low 80s.

Billings forecast:

Friday… A mix of clouds and sun with a slight chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. About 75 for the high.

Friday night… Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms with gradual clearing overnight. Low near 52.

Saturday… Mostly sunny with an increasing chance of a stray shower thunderstorm in the afternoon and early evening. Close to 80 for the high.
