BILLINGS — Snow showers for the mountain foothills Thursday evening through Friday morning could push out to around Billings.
Overall snowfall amounts will be light, with 1 to 3 inches closer to the mountain foothills and likely an inch or less around the Billings area. Most of the snow will concentrate on areas to the west and south of Billings with the eastern plains staying dry.
Overnight temperatures slip down into the teens and 20s, but with a clear sky in eastern Montana readings could drop to the single digits and teens.
Temperatures will stay consistently in the 30s for the highs through the middle of next week, and overnight lows mainly in the teens in most of the area.
A wave pushing up through Wyoming Saturday into Sunday could create some snow into the Bighorn Mountains with an otherwise dry weather pattern.

Thursday night… Cloudy with a chance of snow showers especially overnight. Accumulations will be light. A low around 21.
Friday… Mostly cloudy with a high near 33. A slight chance of a morning flurry.
Saturday and Sunday… Mainly clear with temperatures in the 30s for highs both days with lows in the teens.
