BILLINGS — We go between cooler and wetter, hotter and drier, and back to cooler and wetter again.
Temperatures will be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler Thursday than they were on Wednesday afternoon. High temperatures will be mainly in the 70s to low 80s.
A cold front that moved through the area Wednesday night will continue to bring showers and thunderstorms throughout Thursday tapering off during the evening. Most of the precipitation will be from south of Billings through northern Wyoming.
As the rain quickly backs off during the evening, Friday will set up to be much warmer and drier. Expect plenty of afternoon sun with highs mainly in the 80s Friday afternoon.
Saturday will be hot and dry with highs in the mid to lower 90s.
A cold front moving across the area Saturday night will bring cooler and wetter weather from Sunday through the middle of next week. Highs will be mainly in the 70s and lows in the 50s with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible each day.

Friday… Sunny and very warm. A high of about 89.
