BILLINGS — Warmer and drier conditions highlight the weather, with periods of wind.
High temperatures will edge up over the next few days, hitting mainly upper 30s to mid-40s Wednesday; 40s to low 50s on Thursday; and mainly mid to lower 50s by Friday.
Periods of wind will continue off and on over the next few days especially in the mountain foothills West of Billings. Some of the wind gusts will reach 40 to 50 mph.
A cold front late Friday into Saturday backs temperatures off a bit for Halloween with afternoon readings mainly in the 40s. But overall conditions are not bad with a mix of clouds and sun and generally light winds.
A consistent pattern of seasonable temperatures and dry weather continues into next week. Winds may return next Wednesday.
