BILLINGS — A few isolated storms will develop, but the weekend is mainly about hot afternoons.
A disturbance Friday afternoon will create a few isolated storms favoring areas East of Billings. Some of these storms could generate hail and gusty winds.
Other than a few isolated mountain showers and thunderstorms, the weekend looks fairly dry. The good news is humidity holds up fairly well, and the winds are light helping prevent severe fire weather conditions.
High temperatures will be mainly in the mid-80s to mid 90s Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday with overnight temperatures mainly in the 50s to mid 60s. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine with mainly sunny afternoons.
Change in the weather could come Tuesday into Wednesday with a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Early trends show so the storms could be strong to severe.

Friday… Mainly sunny and hot with a high near 94.
Friday night… Mostly clear with a low of about 64.
Saturday… Mostly sunny and around 93 for a high.
