BILLINGS — Friday will be another in a long string of days with wind, warmer than average temperatures, and mainly dry.
Strong winds once again will top 50 mph to over 60 mph closer to the western mountain foothills. Some of the strongest winds early Friday will be around the Big Timber area. Elsewhere, winds of 15 to 25 mph will be common Friday and Saturday.
Strong winds could affect travel with high profile vehicles and could cause power outages with downed tree limbs and power lines.
Highs Friday and through most of next week will be mainly in the 40s to mid 50s and overnight readings stay in the 20s and 30s for the lower elevations. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine for generally dry conditions will continue.

Friday night… Breezy in the evening and mostly clear overnight. Low near 34.
Saturday… Partly to mostly cloudy with a high close to 50. Periods of wind 15 to 25 mph.
