BILLINGS — Cold Monday, warming Tuesday, but more rain and snow by Wednesday.

Still cold Monday, but with 20s to mid-30s, a bit warmer than Sunday. Scattered snow showers will develop and the afternoon will be breezy, especially east of Billings.

Tuesday warms a bit to mainly the 40s, despite morning readings in the teens and a few low 20s. But cold air brings another round of snow to the mountains and a rain/snow mix for the lower terrain Tuesday night through Wednesday.

Generally warming and drying conditions will follow.

Billings forecast:

Monday… Partly sunny with scattered snow. High of about 33 with a northwest wind increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.

Monday night… Partly cloudy with a low around 20.

Tuesday… Increasing clouds with a high near 47. Showers move in during the evening and overnight.
