Q2 Billings Area Weather: Warm for sure with thunderstorms possible

BILLINGS — Above average temperatures with the threat of showers and thunderstorms all week.

Cooler than Sunday, but still about 10 degrees above seasonal averages in most locations in southern Montana Monday. Highs a be mainly in the mid 70s to mid 80s, but could be well into the 90s in areas of northern Wyoming.

A disturbance brings a chance of showers and thunderstorms to areas north and west of Billings through the evening hours, and a few strong to severe storms are possible closer toward the Dakotas. Billings has a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this evening and overnight.

Highs stay mainly in the mid 70s to mid 80s throughout the week with hit and miss showers and thunderstorms. The chance of storms increases closer to the weekend.

Monday… Sunny to mostly sunny with a high near 82.

Monday night… A slight chance of a shower thunderstorm. Otherwise, partly cloudy with a low around 57.

Tuesday… Mostly sunny with a high close to 79.
