BILLINGS — Another warm and breezy day Wednesday, but cooler days are just ahead.
Warm and dry weather with wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph possible in the mountain foothills Wednesday. High temperatures will be mainly in the mid 40s to low 60s with the warmest readings east of Billings.
A cold front will move through the area Wednesday night bringing in then much warmer than average temperatures, but also decreasing the winds. Lows will be mainly in the 20s for the lower elevations and partly cloudy.
Thursday, highs will be mainly in the mid 30s to low 40s with a mix of clouds and sun. Temperatures drop to the 30s for the highs on Friday and Saturday then edging to the 30s to low 40s by Sunday.
The area continues to be dry, with only a few scattered showers possible. A disturbance Friday could bring some light snow.

Wednesday night… Partly to mostly cloudy as a colder wind shifts to the Northwest. Low near 28.
Thursday… Partly to mostly cloudy with a high near 40.
