BILLINGS — Good morning!

After a mostly calm morning, another cold front/trough will move through today bringing a chance for steady snow to the higher elevations and only a slight chance for rain later this evening for the Billings area, although spots south of Billings could see a few snow showers with light accumulations across the Bighorn foothills possible.

Downslope flow will keep temperatures this afternoon a bit warmer than the norm and this trend should continue over the next several days. We may even see some 50s for highs by late weekend.

Keeping an eye on the possibility of stronger winds to make a return on Saturday night into Sunday, so a High Wind Watch for the western foothills will be in effect Friday night through Sunday.

Outside of that slight chance for showers tonight, we can expect mainly dry conditions through Sunday afternoon before another system sets up to deliver rain/snow as early as Sunday night with a better chance Monday-Tuesday.

Daily highs will be mainly be in the 40s with lows in the 20s/30s through the weekend.
