BILLINGS — Our warmer and dry conditions continue to build in.
Today mainly in the 70s for the highs across Montana on Thursday. Northern Wyoming could see some 60s for the highs but the entire area will see sunshine with a light wind through the afternoon.
Clear to mostly clear overnight with temperatures mainly in the 40s. Clouds start to move into southeastern Montana on Friday that will hold back readings in east to the 60s to mid-70s Friday afternoon. The rest of the region highs will reach highs in the 70s to low 80s.
Temperatures will continue to move upward. Highs are in the mid-80s on Saturday and Sunday, and by Monday could hit the low 90s.
Some areas of wildfire smoke could trim a few degrees off the afternoon highs through Monday. A slight cool down to follow the middle of next week with isolated showers.
Billings forecast:
Thursday… Sunny and warming with a high around 74. Winds are light and variable.
Thursday night… Clear with a low near 46.
Friday… More sun and warming. Close to 81 for the high.
