BILLINGS — Slippery roadways and snow for Sunday
After our exceptional Saturday with highs into the 50s, we’ll see another winter storm system head our way early Sunday morning.
Winter Weather Advisories have been posted for much of Montana for Sunday. Locations in west and central Montana could see 3 to 7 inches accumulation, possibly more in the mountains by Sunday night.
South central and southeast Montana and north central Wyoming will likely see freezing rain from Harlowton east to Roundup, Miles City and Baker Sunday morning. Possible freezing rain will work its way south of that line through Sunday afternoon.
A chance for flash freezing rain will occur across an area stretching from north of Livingston and Billings, east to Broadus, and south to Sheridan and Red Lodge late Sunday afternoon. This area includes Billings.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected in the area Sunday, please use extreme caution!

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, southwest winds 5 to 15 mph and a low of 32.
Sunday: Colder with an 80% chance of AM snow – up to 2 inches accumulation. Expect afternoon snow and rain and potential flash-freezing rain with north winds 5 to 15 mph and a high of 36.
Sunday night: Colder with a 40% chance of snow showers and a low of 16.
Monday: Partly sunny and breezy, and a bit warmer with a high of 38.
