BILLINGS — More unsettled weather in the region will bring warmer than average temperatures and windy conditions to the region today through Friday.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect tonight through Friday evening for the west-facing slopes of the Beartooth/Absarokas, including Cooke City.
Twelve to 18 inches of snow is possible along with blowing snow and 45 mph wind gusts within the warning area.
West of Billings, Winter Weather Advisories are posted for portions of central, northwest, west and southwest Montana.
These advisories will expire later this morning in the northwest, and Friday evening elsewhere.
The Billings area will see showers move in Thursday night through Friday with cooler temperatures by the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, southwest winds 15 to 25 mph, a 30% chance of snow showers and a low of 31.
