BILLINGS — No fooling: another round of snow for Wednesday night.

The first round of snow showers in eastern Montana will head out of the region Wednesday, taking Winter Weather Advisories with it.

The high April 1 sun angle should keep most roads and streets from icing up.

Another band of snow out of Wyoming will reach into portions of south central and southeast Montana on Wednesday night into Thursday.

Winter Storm Warnings for the Beartooth/Absaroka Mountains remains in place through Friday morning.

Expect cold daytime highs in the 20s to low 30s today and colder on Thursday.

Late night and early morning wind chills will dip to 5 above to 5 below this evening.

Clearing skies Thursday afternoon will be followed by a mild warming trend.

Cooler than average daytime highs will stretch through the weekend.

Today: Cold with a 70% chance of snow – an inch or less accumulation – with north winds 10 to 20 mph and a high of 29.

Tonight: Colder with a 70% chance of snow – an inch or less accumulation possible – with northeast winds 5 to 15 mph, a wind chill of 5 above to 5 below, and a low of 12.

Thursday: Colder with a 40% chance of flurries, northeast winds 5 to 15 mph, morning wind chills of 5 above to 5 below, and a high of 23.
