BILLINGS — It's a hot and dry start to August.
Mostly sunny skies and warmer than average temps will stick around through the weekend and into Monday.
Except for a few isolated showers and thunderstorms mainly over the southern mountains, the weather pattern will continue to be mostly dry.
A weak disturbance through the region Tuesday and Wednesday will cool things off a bit and bring a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
