Q2 Weather: Changes almost day by day this week

BILLINGS — Breezy at times; temperatures fluctuate; and showers come and go. Must be spring.

Snow and rain showers in the mountains and foothills west of Billings ease up for Monday afternoon, but winds could gust over 35 mph at times in these areas. Clouds in general will decrease with highs in the mid-50s to mid-60s.

Chilly overnight with lows in the 30s. Frost or freeze conditions could affect young plants.

Breezy Tuesday with a chance of showers in southeast Montana and portions of northern Wyoming. Mainly 60s for the afternoon high temperatures.

After a warm up to the upper 60s to around 70 on Wednesday, mountain snow and lower elevation rain or rain/snow mix for Thursday. Highs Thursday mainly in the 50s.

Billings forecast:

Monday… Clouds and the chance of morning showers gradually becomes a mostly sunny afternoon. High about 64. Westerly wind 10 to 20 mph.

Monday night… Partly cloudy with a low near 39.

Tuesday… Mostly sunny and around 67. Variable wind 5 to 15 mph.
